Shane grew up in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and has developed a deep love for Jesus, the Bible, and seeing people grow in their faith. Much of his own walk with Jesus has been shaped through camp ministry, particularly at Camp Nakamun, where he has spent several summers serving, leading, and investing in young people.
Shane also spent time with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), where his heart for evangelism and missional living grew significantly. That experience helped shape his desire to see following Jesus as more than something that happens on Sundays, but as a way of life—loving people, sharing the Gospel, and being intentional wherever God has placed him.
He has a particular love for youth ministry, discipleship, and small-town communities. Shane loves creating spaces where young people can ask honest questions, encounter Jesus, and discover what it looks like to genuinely follow Him.
When he’s not involved in ministry, Shane enjoys being outdoors, spending time at camp, connecting with people, exploring small towns, and probably finding a good coffee somewhere along the way!
